The Superior Value of Fleet Graphics and Wraps

Through the analysis of the Cost per Thousand Impressions (CPM), the Outdoor Advertising Association of America (OAAA) has compiled statistics which underscore the value of vehicle wraps as compared to other forms of advertising:

  • A 30-second prime-time ad in the top 100 television markets has a CPM of $17.78.
  • A 60-second drive-time ad in top 100 radio markets has a CPM of $8.61.
  • A 1/3 page ad in black and white in the top 100 newspaper markets has a CPM of $22.95.
  • A four-color, one page ad in 23 top magazine publications has a CPM of $9.35.
  • The average CPM for all types of billboard advertising is $2.18.
  • Vehicle wraps have a CPM of $.77.
The OAAA estimates that 95% of commuters in America are reached by media targeting vehicle drivers and passengers.  Fleet advertising boosts name recognition 15 times more than any other forms of advertising.  These statistics clearly demonstrate the superior value of fleet graphics and wraps.
